Today, September 1st, is the first day off school for all who attend Hogwarts.

We've recently added two new fanfictions to our website, to join The After Thought: Teddy Lupin. Their names are The Consequences That Come With My Name and Always and Forever.

The Consequences That Come With My Name  is a one-shot (one chapter) story about Fred Weasley II. He is constantly being pushed to act like his deceased uncle, when in reality he is really nothing like him.

Always and Forever is another one-shot centering Narcissa Malfoy shortly after the second wizarding war. She goes to visit Andromeda Tonks, her sister, in an attempt to reconcile with her. 

Even though it has been 18 days since J.K. Rowling and Harry's birthday, we would like to present you with this poll to honour them.  Pick your favorite sarcastic/funny quotes said by Harry himself, and if you have any other quotes, please feel free to comment.

August 11 is Ginny Potter's (Weasley) birthday, this year she is 33. She is truly an important role in the Battle of Hogwarts. She rebelled against the death eaters at Hogwarts and was a major part of Dumbledore's Army. She is also very tough, having 6 older brothers and constantly having to put up with being the only girl. Ginny currently lives with her husband, Harry, and her three kids, James, Albus, and Lily. Comment your favorite facts about Ginny to say Happy Birthday to her! 

Following the birthday of Neville, today is the special day of Harry and J.K. Rowling. Harry is the brave hero we all grew up reading about. His story has taught us about happiness, friendship, bravery, and so much more. However, Harry wouldn't even exist if it weren't for J.K. Rowling. Rowling has created this magical world that we all love reading about. We owe it all to her. Today, Harry turns 34, and Rowling turns 49. Right now in the Potterverse, Harry lives with his wife Ginny and his children. James Sirius Potter is the oldest, Albus Severus Potter is the middle child, and Lily Luna Potter is the youngest. So, let's all raise our wands and say happy birthday to the boy who taught us so much, and the woman who created the Harry Potter legacy. Today is the day we celebrate the birthday of Neville Longbottom. He is such an amazing character, and a true Gryffindor at the heart. Here are some facts about Neville.
-This is Neville's 34th birthday
-His parents were tortured into insanity by the Cruciatus Curse when he was little. Neville grew up with his grandmother, Augusta Longbottom.
-The Prophecy stated that Neville could have easily had the same fate as Harry.
-Neville killed Nagini, the horcrux/snake belonging to Voldemort.
-Neville's boggart was Professor Snape when he was in his third year (most likely changed).
-Neville is good at Herbology, and he becomes a Herbology Professor when he is an adult.
Neville is a great character. I for one, was really wowed by him.
